Looking at the deployment of sound and rhythm in Elizabeth Price’s video installation Woolworths Choir of 1979, this lecture will discuss how a politically engaged, multisensory, feminist artwork can negotiate memory and remembrance as non-teleological, as a responsibility of collectivesm and through experimental aesthetic forms.
